I have a couple of questions about caster camber plates.

1) how hard are they to install?

2) how long does it take?

3) do i need to get my car alligned after the install?

1. Decently easy. Maximum Motorsports comes with instructions if you don't know how to do it. You can do it in your driveway.

2. It shouldn't take more than 2 or 3 hours. It took us a while to do mine, but we were doing a lot more than just the cc plates.

3. Yes, definitely.

1. Pretty easy, you just have to drill an extra hole. Instructions are detailed with the MM kit

2. I did mine in a morning

3. Yes, you do.

If you take it somewhere to get it alighned, make sure you don't go to a crappy place that just "set the toe and let it go". My friend took her mustang to one of those chain garages that have a special deal for alignments, we put it on the rack at school and they didn't even move the caster or camber. It was pretty ridiculous.

They set the toe and that was it. It's the most important angle as far as tire wear goes, but the other two are just as important. There are shops out there that are slack though, as long as it drives straight they don't care and most driver's don't know the difference or care.

Having a car properly aligned is a HUGE part on how the car drives.

Here is a video of Darin, the guy who aligns my car. I only use him.

Its simple, drill a hole, unbolt strut, and bolt new cc plates on

Alignment difficulty and time changes if you have a bumpsteer kit and want it properly setup..

If just CC plates.. normal time

Is setting up a bump steer kit precisely that important?

I mean I cant imagine its any worse than stock when you slam your car on its face and your tie rods are at a 45 degree angle to the a arms haha

He corner-balanced my car when I went full coilover. I'll probably go back when I'll do some weight reduction. As for the alignment, I believe that if you don't get alignment done after installing, then don't bother wasting money on CC plates in the first place. You are probably better off leaving stuff as is.
