I ditched all my cup holders when I realized years ago there was a perfect spot to stick a cup/can right next to the seat belt latch. Now I am a skinny sob and I know it would not work for larger dudes but I would stick it right behind the latch and the seat belt held it off of my leg and nice and secure, easy to grab.

Yes, I have been using that spot for years, but it is no good for an iced coffee cup

Thanks for the feedback. I'm watching a few on eBay, just waiting for a "nice-ish" one to come through. I've had zero luck with return calls from junk yards here getting back to me.

i was going to make a custom one until i discovered the 01+ consoles loook WAAAAY better. the surfaces are flatter so it just doesn't look cheap. also, its a little lighter and you get a leather parking brake boot.
