You should keep the hood pins on there regardless imo...brother raced a cobra down in ocean city with his ss and the cobras hood slapped its windshield right when the light turned...needless to say it wasn't a good end result with an aftermarket hood

you can have them mounted down into the grill area rather then up through the hood if you do not like the look. I am not big on them either but I can see the form following the function here.

my hood didnt line up with the latch at first either. it's a different hood but still had to do some adjutments. there are 2 8mm bolts...1 is directly behind your radiator cover, the other is in plain site. those are the bolts that i used to move my whole latch around with. i got it perfect with those 2 bolts. easy as pie :)

I'll get a pic of mine tonight. Mine latches great and is tight, it is a bit of a pain to unlatch. I mean the thing unlatches but then when I reach under there to get it the rest of the way that is when its a pain. I don't see this one coming up at speed though.

I have an aftermarket hood and have no concern of it flying up at all.. Didnt have to move the latch and it came with a nice reinforced metal plate where the latch attaches. Once the car sees the track as a dedicated track car it will get hood pins way down the line. but for now i dont care. this hood as seen 110+ so.. ide say im ok lol.

I dislike Cervini.... As long as i own a mustang.. I will do everything i can to not buy one of their products.

Yea , Idk . I just don't like how hood pins look tho. Why is it that stock hoods never have the problem of flying up .

I have the same hood as you. I hate it. It takes forever to close the stupid thing. Always bounces back up. Annoying.
