It''ll give you the same result, it's more of a preference.

I clay it when I wax it or if I see some really bad bugs while washing it but it isn't a regular wash thing for me. But besides the money aspect I can't help but think that the pad/mit rubbing on the paint would have to be a little more abrasive then clean clay sliding across it. Sure with the detailer it should just glide across it and not do any damage but I can't help but think that after time it would leave swirl marks you get on a car that was buffed last year, not all that well and then left to sit sit for a year or two. Also consider that to keep it clean you will need to wash it probably after every other use or so and how many of us are really going to do that?

I'm a clay dropper too DropTop. Must be all the luber. However I very rarely clay my car unless it has fallout or something tuff to get off cause it is abrasive. Clay alternatives never seem to be as good as the real thing

If I ever see it at a great price I may give it a shot just to see if it works.

I need a few things from CG so maybe I can get them to hook me up with one.

So Chemical Guy's copied Nanoskin's product and marked it up by 362%?

Un****ingreal.

You must be smoking crack lol. The nanoskin clay mitt is $49.99 on autogeek. The CG Clay Mitt is $59.99 and comes with Clay Lube and Mr. Pink Shampoo. Apples to Apples.... and the CG one is the better deal for all the extras.

I've done some digging on these mitts and most people really like them. A few threads on autogeek where some pros say they are ditching the clay.

this my my opinion.... and we all know how much detailing I do.

The clay bar gets better results than the mitt. Always has, always will.

95% of "pro detailers" on forums dont even have a clue what they are doing.

Stick with the bar, you will get better results.
