Hey guys, I just ordered some stuff from ChemicalGuys and got a free 16oz bottle of anything... So, I randomly picked V36 Polish to try out, since it's supposed to be for medium to heavy duty cutting. The question I have is, should I use something that heavy duty on my car? I'm fairly inexperienced with detailing and don't want to jack up my paint. I also have M105/M205, but I can never seem to get out all of the scratches with the M105. I'm not sure if it's because the scratches are too deep for a PC, i'm introducing new scratches into my paint by using dirty(not perrrrrrfectly clean) pads, or if I just need to try a more aggressive polish. I used M105/M205 previously on my old red vert, using more than one pass per body panel. To me, it seemed excessive, and I think it might have even "pre-faded?" my paint a bit. Any information would be great... I should be getting the stuff in soon, and i'd like to do a good detail on my coupe, since it is a daily driver and all, just don't want to mess up or waste my time by not removing the scratches/swirls. Thanks guys!
