change the fluid in the trans mission lost the shudder. I drained the converter the cooler and the pan the pan had a lot of micro fine metal in it and on the magnet so I cleaned it out good put a new filter in it "after I got that old orange o ring looking seal out of the bottom where the filter goes it was stuck really good I used a small screw driver to work it out had to bend it a bit anyway got it out put the filter and new seal back in bolted everything back together and filled her up with mercron V and its like having a new transmission in it. shifts just perfect no more shudder. thanks for the tip about putting in a few quarts and cranking it for a moment to let it pump up into the transmission and torq converter and then and two or three more. I think I had about 11 quarts in before it started wanting to pull after the first 8 quarts I started bumping through the gears it took I think 12 quarts a just a bit to top it off after I drove it and let it warm up. :TY:
