They make special spark plug sockets, not a bad idea to use those. Also if you have aluminum heads don't remove them when the engine is hot. Check gap before installing the new ones also.

Use anti seize on the threads of the new ones, and die electric grease on the ceramic before installing the boots on... Be sure to set the gap, I run mine at .040....

righty tighty-lefty loosey

seriously, get a Haynes/Chilton manual. It has tune up info and torque specs., along with a lot more useful info that you'll need and there's pics too.

Make sure to "start" them back in the holes with your fingers, and don't cross-thread them! If your plug wires have never been off, be prepared to destroy one or more them getting them off.

yea the dielectric grease helps prevent the boot from getting stuck on the plugs. sometimes there is even a package in the box of new wires.

I've had to pull mine a couple times, needed and extension for some and just the socket on the others. Found that the plug sockets arn't that good of an idea. the rubber boot wouldn't let the socket go all the way on easily. Antisieze and the plug wire grease should be a given. you'll see how hard it is to get sh3t apart without it, and u will only want to do that once. make sure u gap the new plugs correctly. Also, don't bother with the platninums and sh8t. Worthless unless ur car is super modded. And no offense but it sounds like ur next question will be about installing an oil filter. So i'm assuming it's not. The haynes manual is a definate go. If u can read it will save u a lot of time and trouble. That thing even tells u how to do stuff without buying or using the special tools.
