Chassis electrical problems HELP! ! !

I need help badly! When I put my 95 gt 5 spd into reverse it blows the no.1- 15a fuse. The turn signals fail and the air bag light comes on. I have replaced the back up light switch on the trans. It was shorted out. But that didn't solve the problem. I have current to the back up light switch on the trans. I can take a jumper wire from the battery to the connector for the back up light switch and operate the back up lights w/o any spark which would indicate no short. I have disconnected the back up lights in side the trunk, put the trans in reverse and the fuse doesn't blow. If I so much as touch the pin in the connector in the trunk for the back up lights with a 12v circuit tester light, the fuse blows w/o even a spark. I have also replaced the ign. switch. Could this possibly be the turn signal multi function switch. Thanks for any help!!

Before you go and spend $100 on a multi-finction switch, check over the wiring harness to your back-up lights. Also check the wiring harness to your multifunction switch. My Windstar rubbed a hole in the harness to the multi function switch and burned up a multi function switch and 2 windshield wiper motors before I found the cause of the proble.
