Check engine light 94 gt

Hey everyone, Im new to the mustang world, just bought a 94 mustang gt for my first car. It has a lot done to it. The check engine light comes one when i step on it a little. the guy i bought the car from said due to the car having the modifications that it does, it needs a 76mm mass air sensor along with 24 lb. injectors. I was wondering if i just changed the mass air sensor, and no injectors, will this fix my problem? Also, What mass air sensor do i need?

According to you list of mods there not "lots done to it" it's mostly bolt on stuff. The motor itself hasn't had anything done to it.
Get a Haynes /Chilton manual and learn how to pull codes with a paperclip or buy a code reader and find out what causing the CEL.
You may have bad 02 sensors, maf might be dirty from the cold air kit, egr might be acting up. Could even be the driver seat nut is loose.
Finding out what the CEL code is would really help out a lot

try cleaning mas air flow you can get thespray can at the auto parts i had mine do the same thing i cleaned my maf and never had the light come back on the can is about 5 bucks.try that first

Thanks guys, like i said, im new to the mustang world...I thought there was a decent amount of stuff done to my car... If i do need to replace the mass air, can i do it without getting 24 lb injectors? If so, what size mass air do i need?

You do not need to replace the injectors when you replace the Mass Air Flow sensor... Usually you would only need to buy a Mass
air matched (or calibrated) with bigger injectors (such as 24lb injectors) when you perform any more "in depth" engine work, such as
replacing the heads, or camshaft in the engine.. But, according to your list, you do not have anything that would require any
additional fuel, so no need to spend the extra money right now... First, try and clean the MAF (mass air flow) sensor with specified
aerosol you can buy at a auto parts store.. Yours should look like this from the outside:

And you will need to either remove the clamps that are on either side of the MAF, or, get a t20 torx bit and remove the 2 screws on top
in which case you will be left with the actual sensor that looks like this:

Then, gently spray the MAF/electrical cleaner onto the metal "wire" in the middle, let it air dry and put it back together..

I would clean the mass air but be careful. Also, The mods currently done should be fine for the computer to handle. But we know that you'll maybe need that Mass Air and Injectors later when you slap some Heads on it!

Here is a NOVEL IDEA. PULL THE CODES AND FIND OUT WTF IS GOING ON WITH THE CAR BEFORE YOU START THROWING PARTS THAT IT DOES NOT NEED AT IT. Trust me....PULL THE CODES...DON'T BUY ANYTHING, PULL THE CODES FIRST AND FOREMOST
