I pulled a code 117 which is too low voltage for the temp sensor, anyone know how to fix that?

I also pulled a code 998. This is a hard fault code. Now my engine has a chip in it and I have never checked the codes since having the chip in it. Has anyone had any experience with this code? My engine is running fine, and it doesn't seem like there is anything wrong or running rough...I just am confused when i got this code.

i say reset the puter and see if they come back. they might have tripped when you had the chip put in.

Probably a bad temp sensor for the 117 code. Whats the 998 code description showing? Need to remedy these codes. The ECM will never go to "closed loop" mode otherwise. It will seemingly run fine but, will be slightly down on power & mileage.

998 was just a hard fault code for the fmem? I think thats what it said.

Your car is in Failure Management Effects Mode, this is because your car has not passed its KOEO Self test. Probably because of the 117 code. I would check the ECT temp sensor and its circuit because it is indicating 254 degrees F. Good Luck!

You need to test the circuit and the sensor before you throw parts at it. Try to find someone that can show you how. You'll need a multimeter and it would be best if it was a graphing multimeter. Good Luck
