low coolant would throw a low coolant light.
have you broke out the trusty paper clip and pulled codes?
Could be any number of things like O2's, dirty MAf, Dizzy, muffler bearing, low blinker fluid, flux capaciter.

unless you have a faulty o2 sensor.... it might have read one bank was too rich or too lean since there wasnt and back pressure and rear the fresh air that came back in the exhaust...

it also could be since the exhaust is more"free" that the air coming into the motor seems to be restricted... might be a dirty MAF, it's readings we set at one point and changed a bit more the next...

i can't find a paperclip.. lol. i guess i'll just wait til tomorrow to get them pulled. i won't be driving it until tomorrow to get over to the autozone so i should be ok til then right? my best guess is that the backpressure's confusing either the MAF or the o2 sensors. thanks for the replies guys. i'll keep you all updated when i get home tomorrow.

Check all your fluids and make sure you're not running low on anything. Tranny, oil, coolant...

And I don't know about the area you live in, but over here Autozone stopped pulling codes in like '06..

They still do it here haha. Nice service to have. I might just change all my fluids. I haven't since I've had the car so its probably about time anyways.

Here, Autozone and oreilly let you pull the code but they have the ob2 code readers that will not shut the code off...

Until you have the codes we wont be any help

ODB2 readers are cheap now, I have a handheld one that I use for quick scans and truning off CEL if needed, I have the scanguage in the mustang so I can even turn off CEL on the fly if I want

Came back as evac and emissions. Assuming its from backpressure making the o2 sensors think my cars running lean.

i would go back and ask for a code. it could be a number of things... like a O2 sensor going bad, a MAF sensor going bad or being dirty, IAT sensor, TBpostion sensor, i would ask for a code so you are not wasting your time here and there.
