Have fun with that 305hp and 320lbs-ft of torque, dont you DARE lose to anything other than a Terminator, New Edge Cobra or sn95 Cobra

i dont know where you come out with thoes numbers and the estimate of times... a tuned car by Mike Dez racing with long tubes and a t56 swap and 410's (good friend of mine's car) has hit 12.30's this year on et streets. Im not saying that your grossly wrong but my car with better gear would be a lil closer to him and a better drive def would be closer.

and not to offend you but b headed cars SUCK na ...

geez howd you get the pictures on there?! haha well i didnt buy it my parents did. they werent originally going to spend near that much, but spent 18 grand on my brothers truck. so... yeah. and i wont have to worry about power for a while... my dad is gonna govern it waaaaaaaay down. and they will sell it if i get caught racing or doing anything stupid. and im from collierville, tennessee.
So it's your parents car. I would NEVER say my a thing my parents bought for me was mine. I slaved my butt off in fast food for a dang year to afford my 94 GT and am damn proud of that. Technically speaking, your parents have a nice mach 1. Im sorry, but Im sure 99% of the members of this site actually paid for and continue to pay for their stangs...

The MSD 6AL ignition box lets you put rpm limiters in it, whenever I drop the vert off at the shop I put a 3000rpm pill in it to keep them from getting any ideas.

Lol dont get cocky though, nothing pisses me off more than a kid where mommy and daddy are loaded a buy them a super expensive car then the kid acts like it is their car and they worked for it. I get REALLY angry when people even suggest that my parents paid for mine, I find it insulting. FYI, Im 17, getting younger members in here every month!

There's kids at school that always think my parents paid for my car, my dad did buy the car totalled and not running 3 years ago but I've paid back every cent and all the mods for the car.

Alright here is the deal kid. You got one of the most rarest colors you can get compared to Competition Orange. Azure blue is very beautiful! Keep it well maintained and if you need help come here and ask if you do not know what to do.

Now your 15. There is going to be a lot of peer pressure because you have a car that will attract serious attention. I would keep your parent's rules in the back of your head at all times. Hot-dogging it around town is a no no, because it will just get you in trouble. Like Neris said, its not worth it to impress people.

And for the governer. If your talking about speed governor? Every car has that and it can be taken off by a tune of some sort. All I am saying is becareful because you want that car to last for a long time, I know I surely would.

yeah i went driving last night. it went really well. it was my first time driving a stick and its really touchy in 1st and 2nd but overall id say i did fairly well. my dad keeps on stressing about putting down the rpms to about 3000 or 3500. i dunno. all i know is that ima get obsessive with this car. i even had a few guys wanna race me last night with my mom and dad in the car. eh oh well i didnt take it. but she really is a dream to drive. shes a dream just to look at. lol

yeah the temptation is gonna be ridiculous. and it's easier to say resist than to actually do it. just be careful. if you do happen to find yourself "messing around" with another car. do it quick. and be done. dont go for glory. you're livin the dream kid

no i was saying the temptation is gonna like kill him. so if he does. be careful about it and not frequently. because i know us just saying "no dont do that" isn't gonna do anything to him really.

Well, you know what they say, nothing teaches you more about horsepower than that feeling where you've lost all control of it (usually mid tail-spin).

I have to take the Street Survival course this fall, it teaches you a mix between defensive driving and autocross, if that makes sense. They have a dry/wet skidpad, short course(like autocx), abrupt lane changing, quick brake maneuvers, really anything that can help you in the real world.
So, Mr.Mach 1, have your parents look into that. If there's a local SCCA group they will usually be the ones putting it on.
