He's got a Magnaflow on it, subframe connectors, lots of other goodies, and is currently removing the tasty Cobra interior slimming the inside down and bringing it closer to the R specs.
"Yesterday, following the 5.0L [32v] engine swap into my Cobra, at Adrenaline Race & Performance, the Cobra made 398lb ft torque and "Well into the 400s" on the horsepower (the dyno's pegged at 250hp), according to Jamie at Jamsport.
It was only set-up on a basic tune too, just to get it running, as I'm waiting for a new intake. When that's fitted and with a performance tune (I'll have three to tunes to choose from with the new piggy-back ECU), should be closer to 430hp.
Car feels awesome on the road - so much torquier than the stock 4.6L. I reckon it should be a 12-sec car now".

Hybridbird said:They came with HD cooling, adjustable Tokico Shocks/struts and they were stripped for weight. No AC, no power windows
or locks,no power seats,no sound system and I think they were missing all the sound deadening material as well, and of course
they had the Cobra spec 5.8 instaed of the Gt40 equipped 5.0 like the Cobras, and 250 were all that were ever made for that
year.The Cobra R wasn't made again until 2000,and hasn't been made since.

there is a goodyear dealer in topeka, kansas (about 20min away) and they road race their 95 cobra r.
they still have the plastic on the seats, and the only thing they did different is bought some 17X11 rear wheels,
and threw some meaty tires on the back. the funny part is, the car has about 500 miles on it (about as much as collectors
cars) but it has actually had it's legs stretched.
