Whoa!! Cool! I had read an interview with Amar Bose a few years back and he was saying that this was in development. From what I remember of the article, it is a feedback controlled, electro-magnetic suspension. He said it was going to revolutionize automobile suspensions. Bose is fanatastic company. They're known for the sound equipment but they're an R&D company in the most pure sense. Dr. Bose kept them private so they could pursue any interesting ideas that came around. He said they even spent several million investigating the claims of cold fusion (which they determined to their satisfaction were false). He also said that in the event of his death, or retirement, the company will revert to something like a foundation rather than go public or being taken over by purely business interests. Here's one link but I couldn't find the one I remember reading.

If this is "feedback controlled electro-magnetic suspension" then it's changed a lot since Chevy put it in Vettes (starting in 98, I think. I know it was an anniversary model in a pretty, dark red with gold tinted wheels). It's still an available option on vettes, but I've never seen 'em jump!
