well first off the car has these mods... bbk cai, pro m maf, adjustable fpr, ford racing wires, normal plugs not platinum or anything like that, msd pro billet dist., and coil, headers, o-r h pipe, flowmaster 40s, and non engine related its also got 04 ann. ed. wheels, eibach suspension, steeda tri ax, and weight reduced to hell. basically car starts right up but you have to let it warm up otherwise it just dies upon throttle. even after it warms up you go for wot and it just pops backfires is choppy. and othertimes its perfectly fine and she screams like no other. i have tried adjusting the fuel reg and it works fine then right back to this issue. any help is great. i know the old saying of 5.slow isnt true but mine is wtf...

I had those symptons when i hadnt tightened the upper intake bolts down so i had a vac leak. I also had those symptons when the timing was off. i read the balancer wrong and had the timing set at something like 2 degrees btdc instead of 10 to 14 degrees before tdc. check for vac leaks.

good luck.

are you tuned for the 24's.
+1, I didn't see a tune listed for the 24lbs. IMHO I don't even know why OP would put 24lb injectors on. He really doesn't need it and its only going to cost more money in the end because you have to get a tune for it or get a MAF Sensor calibrated for 24lb injectors.

People do it because they have this belief that bigger is better and they have no clue as to how the EMS controls and reacts to sensor outputs.

first off bought the car last year and it already had 24s on it. i sold it and bought it back my friend had added more mods to it. well after we put in the msd ignition stuff i had it timed dead nuts on. then he added a cai fpr pulleys etc... he tried to time it with the fpr and kept putting it back to stock timing. that was the whole problem. yes the car has proper calibration for em except for my my comp. tune. need more cash for it.well got the btch fixed. first timing was way off. thats cured now thank god i finally have power again. thanks for all opinions and suggestions
