CLEARCOAT FLAKING OFF

i noticed it last week. 3 spots on the top of the driver fender. looks like it's getting worse. is there anything that can be done besides a total strip and repaint. it looks like ass!!!

What model year is it? All of the "Big Three" decided to leave the primer layer out from like
'88 thru '94. Laid paint right on the sealer layer. Tried to save money.
Many had pealing problems on hood, roof & fenders. Hundreds complained & sued the mfgr's.
Many got their cars stripped and repainted correctly. Probably too late at this point.
You might be able to "Google" it for more info. You probably didn't want to hear that but....

I can vouch for that. Paint already flaked off. Take it and get it resprayed.

paint is still stuck, just the clear flying away. i'll try to get some pics up tonight

Yeah mine is doing it bad on the front bumber right under the headlights. Looks like crap, I hate it.
I need to replace my bumber anyway though...Some idiot hit my car at work and hauled a**, now I have a 2" hole in it.
I was pissed when I got off work and saw that.
