Click clack sound

Hey guys, I've got a click clacking sound coming from under the car. Can't really tell what side as it only happens when the wheels are moving. I have warped rotors in the rear that are shot but I don't think it's them as when I hit the breaks the sound is stil there. The sound is at the rear. Initially I thought something was stuck to my tire but I pulled over and ran my hand around both and nothing. So my next guess what u joints. Went to checker after closing and the guy sold me 2 so tomorrow ill swap then out. Anyone have any ideas? The sound is like those toy hands that you wave around and they clack off eachother only slower and faster with acceleration. Sound completely stops when car is stopped.

Try going in a circle and see if it get louder. If they do, that could mean your spider gears are toast. Had that happen with mine about a year ago.

Nothing different happens. I tried taking a round about like turn going fast to see if something would grind but nothing. Ill dig around more tomorrow for sure. Kinda worries me

Ah okay. I know that with mine going in a circle at like 5mph you could REALLY hear it and when standing outside the car you could see the wheel kinda jerking as it spun.

If it sounds like an extreme metal on metal clank, check your driveshaft and check your u-joints. I had this disgustingly loud metal clank before, only happened when i drove, and it was my ujoints. easy fix.

Screw in my front left tire. Dangit. I couldn't hear air leaking. Luckily it didn't go flat on me driving.
