So yet AGAIN, my clutch pedal sounds like a baby rattle. It happens all the time while I'm driving and sometimes when I'm stopped and idling. So after work yesterday I warm up the car and decide to mess with the adjustment a little. ( I have a UPR quick click firewall adjuster adjusted about 75% out towards the engine, Steeda double hook quadrant, OEM 03 Cobra cable thats put on the hook closest to the firewall...It doesnt reach to the second hook) Once I pop the hood I see the clutch cable vibrating and shaking in the engine bay!! The cable is bolted to the right spot and I'm pretty sure its routed correctly. I have no binding in the cable, no engagement problems, just some chatter cuz when I changed my clutch a month ago I was too lazy to get the flywheel resurfaced. So I think this goes hand in hand with the noisy pedal and also the fact that my aftermarket quadrant is missing one of the spacers( the one that looks like a metal tube), I do have it but I forget where it goes. Can anyone help? Sorry for the long book.

adjust the adjuster to go in further to get it on the other hook. you could also get the proper clutch cable.

Proper clutch cable? Whats wrong with the 03 cobra cable? Isint it the same length as a T-45 cable? And with the adjuster bottomed all the way down its a stretch to get the cable onto the farthest hook of the quadrant. I've read here that its not really that good to use the farthest hook either. :dontknow:
