Ok folks I have an 03 GT with a ram HDX clutch steeds firewall adjuster an quick release quadrant. I always use ford racing adjustable cables in my car since I have a Motorsport deal a mile from my house. Only problem is I feel like I'm going through these cables in 15k miles a pop before they start to fray or snap. My stock non adjustable cable last over 70k. Any suggestions on cables that last longer than the frpp ones.

Don't use an adjustable cable, use a non-adjustable FRPP or MM one with a firewall adjuster

MM is really just a factory cable. I used it simply because I found it cheaper at the time I did my clutch.

Yes, MM says they haven't found a better cable than factory, so they modify it to fit their adjuster, and that's all it is.

They modify it ? They pull off the rubber piece and you cut the knibs off like it says to do ? I run a oem cable with after market quadrant and adjuster

From what I understand, they make it so you can just put it in, and not have to do that. I could be wrong though lol. I cut the stuff off my OEM cable ;p
