When I press the clutch it makes a Squeaking sound as the peddle goes down. The peddle is pretty high. Is this a sign that the cable needs replaced?

Stock pedal height is ridiculously high. A lot of people run a pedal height adjuster too get it level with the brake pedal. Myself included. As for the squeak I would get under the dash and check the condition of the cable. Both times mine started squeaking they broke not too long after. If the cable is in good shape you can remove it and spray some lube down the cable. That should quiet it down.

Make sure it's not your throwout bearing. If/When you do replace the cable, make sure to get a motorcraft one.

After having so many issues with all the aftermarket ones, motorcraft worked the best. At one point I got good at changing them with nothing but a curb in a parking lot. Lmao.
