Clutch engaging early?

I have been having a clutch chatter problem, and have gotten use to that, but now my clutch is engaging like 3/4 from fully declutched! Its engaging incredibly early, as I drove my dad's B4000 and it engages way higher up. Is my Clutch spring in need of replacing? Car has 200k ok it, so thats a possibilty.

if you are still using the stock quadrant... that is your problem.

get a 3 piece clutch adjustment set. (quadrant, cable and firewall adjuster)
