Actually, to tell you the truth if you did this on a regular basis you would have a bun and thigh of steel in about two weeks :nonono:. When depressing the clutch pedal its really hard to press in... The clutch is relatively new and i think that may have something to do with it but is there any way to make this easier? Or do i just have to wear it in?

Is it also hard to get into gear? What quad and cable do you have... Mine was stiff and not throwing all the way.. I bought an FRPP fire wall adjuster. Mine is good now.. Was still stiff just cuz i have a Zoom MF clutch. But im use to it now and i like it.

i had that same problem with the clutch being really hard to push in and getting into gear so i thought it was the clutch cable cause there was a shorten 1 on so i went got a stock cable but before i could do that my cable snaped and i took it to the shop and the throwout bearing and the nose that goes on it was broken thats why my clutch was so hard to push down just happend to me a week ago

Dude I've got a Zoom HP in mine. Its the stiffest clutch I've ever felt, haha. I rather have a good stiff one than one thats so soft it flops to the floor by itself almost.

It is a Zoom HP. Is it supposed to feel that stiff? What all does the firewall adjuster do? I'll try to adjust it later this weekend Handz and tell you how it goes.

Adjuster goes into the firewall right where you bring your clutch cable thru. It's so you can adjust where you want your clutch to engage... for example... Enagage at top... or more to the bottom, just by turning the knob at the firewall. Basically for me I used it to get the slack out of the cable which made it easier to get into gear for me. Being a zoom HP and having a clutch CABLE it will be stiffer then a Hydraulic clutch obviously. After time it will get easier. Make sure there is no slack first in the cable at the clutch fork.. Make sure the cable is routed right also. Otherwise it just may take some time to get use to. Good luck

The clutch cable SHOULD have slack. If it doesn't, it can pre-load the pressure plate and the entire rortating assembly, causing the crank to ride up against the throwout bearing. This can lead to wear on the crankshaft and eventual engine failure due to the metal from the crank passing through the oiling system and destroying all the bearings.

Ask me how I know.

Paul.

Well mine had tooo much slack and wasnt letting the clutch engage all the way making it hard to get into gear. But now it works awesome!
