Clutch swap done..Check this out

So heres what the clutch came out of the car looking like..

The fingers on the pressure plate had half of them closed down because shrapnel was lodged in everywhere it could get to..had some of it scrape my starter too.

Sweet, I just removed my clutch and i'm about to put the new one in. I hope I don't regret getting a spec 1 :/

nice.. spec clutches are top notch!!! i have always had great luck with them!!!

WOW!!! You are the jedi master of clutch desintigration!!!! I have lots of broken stuff in my collection, but nothing this awesome! Congrats!!!

WOW!!! You are the jedi master of clutch desintigration!!!! I have lots of broken stuff in my collection, but nothing this awesome! Congrats!!!

Lol not sarcasm I hope? I've never broken a clutch before..Post up some pictures of yours!

Haha thanks..and Im good at driving, but something tells me this was the stock clutch in it, if not a realllly old one.

No, no sarcasm at all. I did explode a cobra clutch at the strip one time in my convertible when it was just a hci setup. I speed shifted into 3rd and the engine just rev'd and I coasted it to the return road, clutch pedal wouldn't come back up, I limped it home, slipping it up hills, about had to get out and push it up a hill with the clutch pedal out and it in gear, lol. Turned out every bit of clutch material had ripped off the disk, and I had driven home on the metal to metal, lol. But nothing like this, man, you showed me up. lol. You are a shifting mo fo. If I was home I could get you pics, I have that disk on my wall and a cf dual friction disc with a huge chunk missing out of it.
