ok well im going to take everyone threw what my last month has been like.
my cable snapped randomally one night, 100% factory quadrant/cable/firewall etc @ 119k
i replaced the cable with a quick upr find that i got from a friend. lasted 8 hours until the plastic between the quadrant shredded out.
then i bought a upr quadrant w/a firewall adjuster and used a 100% oem cable like many of you guys suggested and that worked fine until last night when it snapped. right on the tip of the quadrant, where the nipple is that slides on the hook..
so i need ideas/suggestions to why ive had terrible luck. and if anyone has any product opinions or install tips..
like is it possible to route the cable wrong threw the engine bay?
tonight i tried to install the upr cable i had with the firewall adjuster/quadrant thats still in there and i have to press with almost all my might to get it to go down, but it comes up like butter..
all i want is a nice combo that has no friction and isnt going to take all my might to press down for disengagement..
so im open to suggestions, please dont flame im just looking to my board members for advice..
clutch is a king cobra with about 15k on it now..
