yes but you need the following
1. cobra brakes
2. the brakes that are use for the cobra brakes
3. cobra rotors
4. some say to replace the flexible brake line with either what come on the cobra or something high. not sure

Yes they will work fine, only thing is you might have to grind a small section of the spindle to fit the caliper brackets, but you might not. Other than that you're golden!

It will work just fine, get the lines, pads, rotors, calipers and you are set. The calipers have to have the brackets with them though.

I was able to use the same banjo bolts, you might not be able to, I am not sure. Awesome upgrade.

I left the master cylinder alone so I have more room to upgrade later.

Mine were '95 Cobra brakes: I was able to reuse the banjo bolts that came with my setup but decided to replace the banjo bolt's crush washers and, since the calipers are from '95, I replaced the piston seals before installing mine just to be safe. Also when you buy new pads make sure to specify Cobra pads.

If you swap master cylinder you will need diffrent hardlines to the proportining block. Diffrent softlines or braided. Atleast 17 inch wheels. And some of the suff mentioned before.

The Cobra, Mach 1 & Bullitt brakes are all the same just different paint etc...& fit perfect on the SN 95 Gt's. I changed the Banjo bolts...Dust shields, went to a 95 Cobra Master cylinder, 2 hard brakes lines from the MC that were prebent from MaxMotorsports. I was able to use the Russell SS brake lines over from the GT system though...I bought Baer Decelarotors for the bling..& I had to buy a different spare tire out of a 95 Cobra to clear the 13" Rotors! Don't forget that one! The GT spare won't clear the rotors.

The GT spare won't clear the rotors.

Are you saying that the GT spare with the 17" wheel factory option won't fit or just the spare with the 16" wheels?

The 17" GT spare won't work..need the Cobra 17" spare...or Bullitt or Mach 1 spares...

Why would anyone NOT carry a spare? Cheap simple insurance to not be stranded on the road...& I'm sure not going to leave my car somewhere!

Doesn't the explorer have the same bolt pattern? I wonder if you could use a spare from one of them or a ranger.

Explorer/Ranger is the same bolt pattern... but they have a full size spare that tucks under the truck. Won't work.

With just the front being a Mach1 upgrade, if I get a front tire flat I'll just have to put the spare on the rear and move the rear to the front. Speaking of spare tires, when was the last time the pressure was checked?
