Cobra crank?

I found a killer deal on a brand new cobra crank. If I was using a stock 97 gt crank in mine, this was 6 bolt correct? are all cobra cranks 8 bolt? what would i need to do in order to use the 8 bolt crank now? thanks

8 bolt flywheel then you can go with the odd ball 99 gt's that had 8 bolt gt cranks...youll be like meeeeeee now haha

how expensive are 8 bolt flywheels? if they are anything somewhat expensive it wouldnt be worth it for me to buy this, i would just be better off buying a forged 6 bolt crank

Just got a complete steal for some parts. Just bought a brand new forged 8 bolt cobra crank, the guy is giving me the auto 8 bolt flexplate, and also bought brand new 60# EV1 Siemen injectors. Got all this for $600 shipped

Good decision on the Cobra crank

thanks fred, i really was going to just use my stock crank for the build. But I have decided to also add a Snow Pereformance stage 2 boost cooler meth kit while I'm doing the build, so I'm definately shooting upwards of 600rwhp through my built auto. Came across a great deal and hopped all over it.

I shipped out my heads/cams/edelbrock manifold to MMR (which they will get on Wednesday) so they can do their stage 3 p/p, port match the manifold, and install the CMS stage 3 blower cams/valvesprings.

Next on the list is forged rods/pistons and all arp headstuds, mainstuds, side bolts, and felpro gaskets and i can start putting this thing back together

I haven't been giving my car the Love it deserves
I've started driving it again to work and put aside some $$$$ to finish the engine build and order a new TC etc so it should be done by start of summer if all goes smoothly.

For me it was lack of time and interest but since i've changed careers and no longer get a free car to drive from work I needed to drive the Stang and i'm realizing how much I missed it.

yeah pretty much $$$$ and time. I graduate college in May so thats my priority right now. That and I'm trying to get a hookup with a real job. But shes getting there.
