Which gear to go with?
4.10
or
4.30

Also, does Hedmann make good headers? What about MAC?
I'm gonna kinda do this on a budget, being I ave no job... Used parts FTL, but it's what I can afford.

I personally think both gears are a bit much, all depends on the future plans for the car.

like i always say, go big or FU, go 4.56's, but in all seriousness they are both good, i liked my 4.30's, i switched to 4.10's and love em, but i also have an auto so its not as much of a big deal to have 4.30's than it would be to have them with a 5 speed

3.73s or 4.10s

4.30s and higher is a bit much for a streetcar IMHO. However, you're just going to get a bunch of opinions here anyway - so there's mine to add to the list.

3.73 or 4.10's as well. Ive never been steeper then 3.73's so I cant comment beyond that.

I want whatever is gonna be best at the track, but I don't' want 4.56's, that's for sure.

I went with a 3.73 rear, but got my Performance Automatic AODE with the Wide Ratio Gear Set.

So I have a 4.41 first gear. The car is a monster off the line...heh

thats the main reason why i went down to the 4.10s, i was planning on doing my tranny with a higher gear set over the summer but never got the time or money to do it, so it will probably be a spring thing to do, i did the math once a while back and the tranny gears from a 4r70w will make it feel like i have something higher than 4.30s but not to high like 4.56s
