Cobra front bumper on my 3.8?

I LOVE the sn95 cobra's, but can't afford one. I know having the appearance of a cobra but really being just a v6 is like murder to some people, but I don't care. I was just wondering if the cobra bumpers will fit on my 3.8 because on most mustang websites, it says it only fits GT's and Cobras. Aren't they all the same body shape though? Thanks.

Yes its all the same as fitment goes. The only way you wont get flamed is by making sure you stay true to your V6....Don't take off your badges and/or replace them with cobra ones. Just a cobra front bumper shouldnt offend anyone, everyone I'm sure would agree that its the better looking of the factory bumpers.

but yea, I would see no problem with you doing that, just dont put cobras or gt all over everything posing as something your not.

my buddy keeps telling me to get the cobra front end for mine, buuut I like the v6 look. Once Im done it should be a pretty good sleeper haha

I have a Cobra front bumper and a 03-04 Cobra hood for a SN95 on my V6 stang.
I did remove all the badges. It keeps people guess, as it is an 11 second 1/4 mile with a different exhaust note.

thought about getting one at one time. I just love my stock bumper to much and dont really want to look anything like a cobra. People already think my car is a gt because of my rims and exhaust.

as long as you don't have the badges your fine. If someone is mistaking your car for a gt then they need to learn mustangs.

Ehh...It's mostly like 30 year old guys. They are still in the BOSS days, so I usually get asked "hey man is that a BOSS?". Can't really blame them they grew up in the fox body 302 days
