get the 70mm tb. i have one and i noticed a little bit of pep. i really need to put my intake on now. i'm juiced!

sorry I havent actually finished the car yet. Im waiting on two long intake bolts and the egr delete to come in before I can finish it all up. Really aggrivating me right now honestly, lol. I'm definitly working on the tb and cai the guy selling is the only thing holding me up. He said next weekend, hes waiting on parts too before he can get rid of these.

let me know if you need any help man. I'll provide any help I can. My first piece of advice is try to get everything ahead of time so you dont have to waist a lot of downtime like me.

Ok thanks man. What gaskets did u go with? You can't use the same intake bolts?

Lower intake bolts, yes
Upper intake bolts, no

Ill measure the uppers if you need me too, but my manifold could be a lil different so you may just have to see what works for you but I can measure them if need be.

Geez, you know that information might have been a lil more useful to me YESTERDAY. lol
No seriously though I wish I would have used the black, I even had a new tube sitting in my toolbox just didnt think about it. Maybe I'll get lucky

nope, I wasnt using it anyway but I checked it and it wouldnt fit.

You can use the earlier Cobra intake and just buy an elbow.

yep thats what i paid 250 and for everyones info took the first test drive today, I dont want to give out my opinion yet cause i havent set the timing or put the new plugs in and so on.

Right now still feels like a turd out of the hole. auto with 2.73's is killin me Right now still working out the kinks, I got a thermostat housing from Oreilys with a pinhole in the casting, :BangHead: MADE IN CHINA. Got that fixed now and seemse to be doing fine. Also something I noticed, no more ping. If that holds true, then the whole job was well worth it to me. Havent driven it much yet just took it around a couple blocks and back.

I will say this too, it seems to run much smoother. I think some of the old crackly vacuum lines and stuff I replaced were leaking. That would explain a lot actually. Ill keep u guys updated though.

I found my upper/
:lower combo for 230. Got the lower off corral.net and the upper off craigslist. I waited days to find a good deal. It depends on how much you wanna spend.
