I heard that also, it's in the middle between t-5 and world class t-5 but who knows.

The Cobras have a pocket bearing between the input and the mainshaft. This gives more support between the two.

it has things like a steel bearing retainer, phosphate coated gears, etc. but either way it can't be that much stronger.

that's kinda what i figured, that's good cause i'm scoring a free tranny out of a 95. it's from a friends car and i know it's history so it'll be better than what's in my because i know my car's history!

Youve probably heard this before but at the power your engine is N/A why mess with a tranny that cannot take your power???

yeah i have and trust me if the budget was there a tko600 would be installed or better yet why not a Tranzilla 6 speed! but this is the best i can do for the moment, but i understand completely what you're saying because i'd say the same thing.

I just built a 349 for my 95 and installed a G-Force geared T-5 behind the motor.

those are stout but it's the stock t-5 case that has me worried. i heard they fracture around 500 hp just like the stock block.
