codes: p1232 and p0453

So my 98 gt isnt starting and thorwing these codes, p1232: open power to fuel pump circuit, p0453:fuel tank pressure signal circuit input above maximum. I looked up those codes online and those were the code meanings, i cant figure out figure out why the fuel tank pressure is above maximum and how there is open power to the fuel pump circuit

Check and see if your fuel inertia switch has been tripped. Switch is behind left inner trunk panel.

what do you mean by tripped? is that for code p1232?

if it is popped up its been tripped. make sure the electrical plug that goes INTO the switch is fully plugged in as well.

if you hit a pot hole too hard it can trigger the fuel cut-off.

the gas cap is on all the way,and functions correctly.I just checked the nipple by the injectors to see if there is fuel and it doesnt have any pressure there.What do you guys think?

i heard that the box inside the fender well on the passengerside has something to do with the fuel system,if so what is it called?
