ok so i just got my motor back together, and i go to change the oil, and at first pure green coolant came out of the pan, then murky milky oil. I figured no biggie, this happened when i pulled the heads (coolant spilled everywhereeeee).

but its been about 20 minutes since the oil finished draining, and coolant is still dripping out. its dripping at a drop every second pace. whats up with that? is it possible i just spilled alot of coolant into the oil passages when pulling the head?

Na sounds like a crack somewhere, no way to have filled it with that much, didn't over torque the heads or caps at all did you, a lot of blocks I'm not sure about mod motors but a lot of them the head bolts are extremely close to coolant passages or even intersect them, and if overtorqued it can crack the block on the inside very easily, especially aluminum blocks.. But like u said I'm no mod motor guy but sounds like a cracked block if you haven't run the car too hard could be a head gasket but coolant would have lost pressure by now and stopped spewing out, especially after 20 mins..

Gonna have to sub to this thread, I'm about to start my PI swap but have wondered how to keep the coolant from spilling into the block.

2V blocks in the SN-95s are iron blocks, though I'm no mechanic but I am pretty sure I've been told that makes them harder to over-torque.... not sure if I'm right about the over-torquing though.

Don't drain your oil until after the new heads are on then if you got any coolant in your oil, it will drain out with the old stuff. Just be sure to change it before you start up.
