Anyone know what I should use to replace the stock coolant tube (the one that the PI intake won't fit over) I don't want to wait until Mon. or Tue. for ford to give me the 99-04 version. Should I just get a longer version of the one that goes into the firewall to run through the valley into the pump? I don't think it would fit though. I know someone has done it without the new coolant tube. Any ideas?

5/8 Heater hose. If you cut the old tube right, and turn the hose clamps to face up, you still get to them with the intake if need be.
