I think it can be done I have the driver mod on my side lol.

The driver mod has nothing to do w/ your car not having enough power to effectively use slicks

I don't have to worry about 110mph my car won't even come close to that but I have exeperinced it with my buddy's 2000 LS1 Camero that ran a 12.96@108 with a set of slicks.

Im not trying to piss anybody off so dont take it that way I know this turned into a pretty heated argument but I guess everybody has their opinion about things,I just truely beleive that I can gain .5tenths with a good set of drag slicks thats just how I feel I could definitly be wrong so this won't be the first time.So I just want to apologize if I pissed anybody off sorry.But in may when the track opens back up I will let you know what happens rather it happens or not I will post a video either way so again Im sorry if I pissed anybody off thats not what I was trying to do.

2 thingsi was just thinking about, if you put some $$ in to the suspension ie lakewood 70/30 or 90/10 drag shocks and new springs you MIGHT have a chance but even still i dont think your gonna be able to get that slick to grab and launch hardenough to use thoes slicks correctly.

I had the wiggle on my MT DR's when I had the PSI really low, if yoiu know its coming its not as bad but when you dont expect it the frist thing that flashing into your mind his hitting the wall at 100+ MPH



Slowstang I really do hope you can get 13's w/ just slicks its just that I think myself and others consider it a tall order to expect to happen. Theres nothing better then doing something when others say "You Cant" But I think what the majority of us are saying is just dont expect it right off but hell if you do it then great

this is bs , a stock sn95 gt bone stock just slicks does not have enough power esp to the ground to run 13's, I dont care if you have john force driving it, you would need bolt ons, weight reduction, slicks skinnies, full exaust, pi intake, which = not stock, im sorry this is all bs, your car prob has a pi motor
swap in it to run 13's .


After seeing your rebuild of your car, im pretty sure you did a pi swap motor,


A friend of my had a 98 gt and he rebuilt his, he swapped in a stock 2001 gt pi motor, and just had gears, intake , welded in flowmaster catback, with dr's he ran 13.8@98. which would be what your saying you would run if you had just slicks on a bone stock non pi car, BS!! your so full of shit
