I just replaced the stock coil because it had alot of corrosion and some sizable pitting on the underside. I replaced it with an msd coil and now i have a slight surge from 500 rpm to about 650 rpm. Is the coil the culprit or is it that i just need to go through the sticky at the top?

I replaced my stock coil with an msd, but no surge, it would be pretty unusual for a coil to do that. Its a very common thing with these cars anyway, tps, iac, you name it, check all your vacumn pipes and definately the sticky. :)

there is no quick fix really if you have a legitamate problem ive tried the above sticky and i had an idle problem. i swapped injectors and my maf and my surging basically went away. imo i dont know about quick fixes but try the sticky it might work for you
