could this be the problem

i ve posted on here recently about how my car doesnt make the power i was told it could by a shop dez racing, i was thinking about thinks other than the engine and i remeber that when the car was dynod it kept reading rich my 02 sensors are spliced in and i dont belive they are even for this car none of the wires match and the factory plugs are cut off the car always smells like fuel and does not drive well on the highway?

That could do it, the car is running very rich and just choking on the excess fuel
