Definite sleeper man... Looking at it driving by you just think "nice fox..." It wasn't until I found it on CL that I knew about the twins...

Haha man I'm in too far with mine to trade it. I think once you surpass the purchase price (of at least $4k or so, I paid $5k for mine) your just stuck with it. Mustang problems!

This car started life as a 1997 Ford Mustang GT. The only thing original that remains is the steering wheel and gauges. Everything else has been gutted or replaced. It's in excellent running condition, and only been to the track a handful of times. I regret having to sell it, but I'm moving cross-country and can't take it with me.

ENGINE-
Rebuild done by Total Performance - 4.6L 32-valve Cobra motor, aluminum block, 2004 Cobra forged crank, ACL race bearings, HV oil pump, Canton trap door oil pan, Probst forged pistons, Probst lightweight forged rods, head cooling mod, Ford motorsport water pump, and stock compression for 91 octane. Has been de-tuned for the track mandated 9.5lbs to 1hp limit (which comes out to 305rwhp but capable of 425+). The headers are 15/8" primary long tubes, the exhaust is 2.5" 304 TIG welded stainless with Burns stainless mufflers. This motor is badass.

DRIVELINE-
Rear axle has 4.10 gears with a fresh factory posi. It has the T/A style aluminum diff cover with carrier pre-load studs. The tranny is a T-45 with a .67 top gear. The shifter assembly is a Steeda Triaxe. It has a 14lbs billet flywheel, a Southland 6-puck roadrace clutch, and a King Cobra pressure plate.

CHASSIS-
Griggs GR40 World Challenge kit (best road race suspension you can get, this kit alone costs over 13k! see for yourselfhttp://www.griggsracing.com/product_info.php?cPath=4332_4310_4347_1060&products_id=535), adjustable sway bar, Watts Link setup on the rear, Koni shocks. The brakes are also the Griggs World Challenge setup, best you can get. You can come around the oval at 150+ mph and stop on a dime, they're unreal! Custom 10-point 4130 chromolloy roll cage (since this is a full cage you have to climb through the windows to get in/out, so if you're a very big person this might not work). Upper and lower subframe connectors. The chassis has been squared and the front & rear suspension has been blueprinted and squared as well. The steering is also new and only has a few track days on it. The wheels are 17x9 Steeda ultra-lights.

Total car weight is around 2900 lbs.

Hello. Last month I purchased a 2008 Toyota Prius and completely overhauled it. I swapped out the 1.8L 4 cylinder for a beefy 6L LS2 (corvette engine). I was only posting about 13s 1/4 mile though, so I quickly supercharged and turboed it. Right now I'm running on 56 lbs of boost. Ran a 8.73s 1/4 mile on factory tires. I love this baby and hate to see her go. Price is firm. But I'm willing to negotiate.

Anyone think these are worth a look? I'm under the impression that Ultra-Lite I's are getting tough to find. Obviously need a bit of attention to properly polish or maybe just a visit to a powdercoater...

Not too bad of a deal. Yes those wheels are getting harder to find these days.
The green track SN95 I posted a few posts up is running them as track wheels.

After being powdercoated professionally, those rims will look good in no time.

Yeah that track car is pretty cool. If I went for it I would certainly have them done right. Wish they came with the center caps.
