Cruise control problem

Hey guys in the last week or so my cruise control has started acting up and only working part of the time. Today it was really bad, it took over 5 minutes to get it to finally come on after pressing the on buttons about 100 times. My guess is the buttons are just wearing out because it will work eventually. Any ideas?

not a clue dude... i've never heard any problems with cruise on these cars.

My car has a ton of miles and they are highway miles so I'm hoping its just the buttons in the steering wheel. The don't have a very positive feel anymore. The cruise cable is fine.
