a better than stock replacement fan for the 96. I don't want to change radiators to move up to the 97 fan, so looking for an aftermarket that flows more and easily bolts up to the stock style setup. thanx for any suggestions.

Isnt the 2000's mercury mystique, cougar have twin fans and a big upgrade for us?

I know the expansion tank is different on the modulars then the pushrods but a dual fan on the pushrod would not allow for use of the stock overflow tank.

Iirc the mark 8 fan fits and has a pretty good upgrade in cooling flow.

just realized this thread is in the v6 section, should be in the 3V sections. going to move it there...or start it again there. in the meantime, any year Mark 8? n
