i just read about a guy cutting the crank down on his 5.0, is it worth it and how much does that normally cost...i got to pull my motor later this month
If you are going to build a short block with a cut crank, then put together an entire package. Meaning, build yourself a performance shortblock with the proper lightweight internals that work together. Otherwise, go pick up a rebuilt 302 short block or a aftermarket manufactured 306, - 347 from DSS, Keith Craft, CHP, etc., fully assembled shortblock. I prefer DSS, but...
