Here's a video : Mysterious Beeping Behind '94 Mustang Dash

I took it with my cell phone, so please forgive the awful quality. You can hear the beeping I'm talking about though. :BangHead:

I pulled my instrument cluster last week to change a bulb and once I had put it back in it started this odd beeping on startup. It only beeps on startup, and only for 30-45 seconds. It's coming from behind the dash (near the HVAC controls), and it's not from my CD player. I've pulled the instrument cluster out twice and I can't figure out where on earth the beeping is coming from. Anyone else had this issue? It's a bit strange. Lol.

a friend of mines car did the same thing, turned out there was a bad bulb in his cluster and that beeping is to alert you of this. It may not be in your case, but id check all the bulbs like the airbag and check engine light bulbs to make sure they're good.

Try to put back the check engine light bulb. A few years ago, i had a Ford Windstar and when i pulled off the check engine light bulb the beeps were coming up, it's like a beep code sequence.

From what I remember, it typically indicates that a critical lightbulb is missing. Perhaps your airbag or check engine light.
