well, there is a "paint my dash" thread and everyone is talking about how much of a pain pulling the dash is...

I will be pulling my dash soon in my car, and I was cruious what everyone suggested for help.

What would you differently now that you can look back?
What tools will make/break this experience?
any suggestions?

Thanks all,
Chris

I would buy a tiny electric magic ratchet that can fit anywhere and you're set. In all seriousness the dash was by far the worst thing I've ever had to work on on my stang. Once you get to the screws that are near the windshield that face towards the rear of the car you'll wish you had that magic ratchet or some inspector gadget hands and arms. Good Luck

I thought the worst part about the whole experience was figuring out what kind of terrible electrical patch jobs there are under there. It was ridiculous to find three full sets of unused speaker wires (bundles...). Other than that, just take your time. The harder part, I thought at least, was putting it back in. By leaps and bounds harder.
