DD on Welds ?

Ok when I had my 2002 mustang GT I put about 20k miles on it with draglites bigs and skinnies and didnt have one problem.. Now a guy that worked with me had a 88 hatch and it was gutted and had same set up wheels on it and it was like his car didnt want to stop lol..
