So I have a 94 cobra b303 cam, gt40 aluminum heads, stock bottom end, Msd 6al,... but I was debating weather or not to carbon seal it with the current set up.... probably a 750 holley..I know there would be a power gain with losing the efi but is it really worth the money and work

There is absolutely no way I'd do this.

What are you gaining? You're going backwards in technology!!

Resale of the car will be shot cause no one wants that anymore, emissions are out of the question for anyone that needs this to get tags, driveability and the amount of electronics and parts that need removed are just rediculous. Spend the $ elsewhere.

Yes, a properly setup carb will make just as much HP as a EFI setup. But why go through all that work and brain damage, for no gain or betterment of your ride?

Are you having EFI issues? What do you think will be better with a carb?

is it worth what? what are you trying to accomplish?

750 is overkill for a 302 w/ those parts. hell a 600 is more then is needed

Well the amount of weight cut help my et at the track cause I run no ac powersteering and gutted interior already, and a proper carb setup will make more hp then a efi system... emmisions will be out the window and driveabilty

I'm curious, what's the weight savings? Probably wiring then actual engine parts right.

So it's a dedicated race car. Kind of a toss up. What class do you run? Will it help you becoming more competitive?

Yeah most of the weight is wiring, which does add up.. its not a dedicated race car. I still cruise it around to car meets and for fun, but me an my buddies do like to go to the track a few times a month and run in streetcar shootouts at our track
