i say if you like your car, keep it. just because you have the money to spend on a new car doesn't mean you have to get a new car.
i would store the yellow stang, buy some little 4 cyl for the winter. buy snow tires. and mod the mustang. there you go.

^^ Im not buying a car for winter :p. I drove my dad's Mazda B4000 4x4 Last winter when the blizzards hit(I was a learner driver at the time). I drove this mustang all last winter minus 4-10 days when it was blizzarding outside. Im looking at a 1986 Bronco II or something similar, like an 86 ranger 4x4. My mom is being a bitch about it though, saying she has to think about it. Problem is, she better think faster! I either spend $500 on winter tires for my stang or spend $1000 on a SUV that is 4x4, better in snow, won't get salt on my car ie; wont rust as fast and just all around better as people tend to crash in winter...

Your family needs to talk to your mom. explain that it's just not safe driving your car in the winter with RWD and a larger vehicle would be safer for you in the slippery conditions. it's simple facts :)

Lol in the short time I have lived I have found out a few things about women, one is you can't get logic through their heads half the time :p. We are trying, she said she needs time to "think it over" otherwords, she has only 2-4 weeks before I get the winter tires or the winter beater. I told her I said that driving my car in winter is bad because it will make it rust and it loses control easy, which she figured out riding with me last winter, but she also now knows I can control the car when it does that :crying:

you can't always control the car.... there's always that one scenario. just tell her you would feel safer driving a non-RWD car
in the winter.

Well, we finally got it threw my moms head, and Im getting a winter beater! I found this old bronco II, apparently has issues with the tappets. Any of you guys think this is all that bad for just a winter beater ie; Truck will be used to go to work, school, and friend's houses.
