alright i posted maybe a week ago about my diff making a wierd poping noise after or inthe middle of a slow sharp turn.
anyway i got it on a lift today and looked at it and made sure it was still locking when the wheels where moving in opposite directions. still did, checked my rear diff fluid and everything was fine. but there was a black fluid all over the bottom of my car that looked like oil..weird.
so its either something inernally or ive gone crazy lol. any ideas of what it could be?

Open the cover and look, gear lube only cost like 3 bucks a quart, and it probably needs changed anyway.

Yeah take the cover off and check the fluid. Check the magnet at the bottom on the inside and see if there are large metal chips. But first I would check everything but that. Check the rear swap bar see if its broken in half where it bolts in. Check the control arms and see if they seem to be loose. Check the u joints on the driveshaft. Those make a popping noise when they're going bad.

You stock T-Loc is Dead..... Sorry Dude.

Same thing happened to me.... The stock 8.8 T-Locs are famous for eating themselves up.

.....I would recommend you upgrade to something better...like a Eaton or Auburn.

I went with an Auburn HD LSD and its AMAZING.... made a huge difference on how the car behaves in a straight line and when cornering.

I got mine from JEGS for $400ish..... you can get a T-LOK for alot cheaper but the Auburn does amazing things.
