I've got everything together right now to get my blower project started in 2 weeks, and I really would like to know if a BAP is necessary for my power level. Here's my combo:

Novi 2000 @ 9-10 lbs (3.25" pulley)
CX Racing 3" core intercooler, 3" piping
VMP HPX slot MAF
Vortech MiniRace BPV
03 Cobra 39lb injectors
Aviator fuel pump

Im looking for ~400 rwhp, no more than that. Do you think the Aviator pump is enough, or do I need a BAP. I've been reading about this pump a lot, and most people say its good to 450hp, and people have hard evidence, but some people say it won't cut it, but they have nothing to back that up. I don't want to get the car on the dyno and run out of fuel, but its another $250 I really don't want to spend if I don't have to.

I would think you should be fine...with 9-10 psi your probably going otbe around 400 rwhp.

The aviator pump is like 285 lp/h I thought which should be enough for closer to 450 rwhp.

The Aviator fuel pump is said to flow 310lb/h. Its what i am running on my Kenne Bell and I am at 420rwhp.

You need to run a 40amp BAP with the aviator pump cause it draws alot of amps. If you run a 20amp BAP on an aviator pump you will blow the fuse on theBAP wiring often.
