you'll need pi intake gaskets (99-04) Pi coolant return tube, pi water pump nipple, and some silicone :thumb:

and if you don't to use the coolant tube you can get some 5/8th heater hose like i did.

If you're thinking about the doorman intake for our cars, It's not the PI intake....I have it and it's just a replacement with the aluminum crossover. I don't know if they make one for the 99 up cars, but also the gaskets are different than factory. Mine was leaking a while back and I had to special order the freakin gaskets from doorman. If I was you, I'd just get the regular PI with the aluminum crossover. It may save you some future hassle. Doorman is also overpriced in my experience too.

Yes dorman does make both NPI and PI intakes. If I wasnt on vacation I would get you the part #. I posted a good tread with pics on the dorman intakes about 2 years ago... Ill try and find id it. The good thing about the dorman PI intakes is that it has both sensor holes on the crossover.

No the factory PI gaskets will not work with the doorman intake. Doorman's gaskets are separate ring style gaskets which fit around each port. The factory gaskets are a one piece design for each side. And unfortunately, I think you will have to special order them. I had to....I searched for days around town and no-one carried them. Good luck and hope this helps.

Well first off its Dorman, not Doorman..... sorry couldnt take it anymore....lol

The o-ring style gaskets they use should last. Ive known people to pull the intake a few times and not replace them.
If you must change them you could just use "The Right Stuff" gasket maker. Its made by permatex, looks like a cheese whiz can.

Dorman part #'s
"PI" 615-175
"NPI" 615-178

You need to find out where its leaking. Spray a little wd-40 around there while the engine is running. When the motor rev's thats where its leaking.

Funny thing though, my brother-in-law put on a dorman intake on his 99 GT and it whistles also. Does sound like it is supercharged...lol

But his doesnt leak, just whistles.

Good luck bro, if you need any help let me know.
