Is it possible to do your own custom tunes with out a aftermarket tuner? Is there some sort of program that you could use with a i pad or laptop? I’m just curious how all of that works. It seems to me that all of the tuners you buy from LMR and American Muscle seem to be generic in what they do. How do the guys at the speed shops do it?

Megasquirt is popular. SCT pro package works well. There are plenty off reliable options. The smarter guys will chime in

its not as easy as it sounds but it can be done. I am in the process of installing a holley HP system because I do not have any reputable tuners in my area but its been the most frustrating thing to learn about everything I have done to it so far.
