A friend of mine told me about this EEC Tuner (eec-tuner.com) and from what i am seeing, this appears to be the do it yourself answer to a custom burnt chip and professional tuning. Has anyone ever heard of or used one of these eec-tuners before. I'm thinking that this would solve all of my future cam issues that i may run into. What do you guys think???

After reading into it a little, it looks like a TwEECer is a better setup. Has anyone heard anything about the TwEECer tuners? The anderson ford motorsports PMS seems to be the easiest, but its also the most expensive. I'm not sure if i want to spend close to a grand on a tuner. Where did you guys find a SCT tuner to work with a 5.0 I've seen them for the 96 and up 4.6, but never for the 5.0's.

Well if your plan to tune it yourself , start reading now. I run a megasquirt ecu, which is totallu diy. Tweecer is a good system and pretty easy to get started and tune and Anderson PMS is the easiest but alot of coin. Tuning is as simple as what tuner to use. It's ALOT of research. I would leave it to the pro's unless you wanna spend all your freetime for the next 3 months reading.
